The bookstore was added to Peters Commons, blending perfectly with the Commons. It was made possible by a major gift from board member Edward A. Babka, Dubuque publisher, civic leader, philanthropist, and Presbyterian layman. It houses, in addition to the book store, the Babka dining room, commuter lounge and other administrative offices.

Did You Know?

Babka Bookstore is a not for profit organization whose funding is directly incorporated back to the University to help fund projects, departments, and events.

We Believe that our students come first so we sell over 90% of the merchandise in the store at around 30% discount from suggested retail values.
